Edward Schipul - CEO and President

Ed Schipul has successfully and profitably grown
Schipul - The Web Marketing Company by building a great team of people focused on results.

Ed believes in the emerging field of social software, which helps users connect and collaborate online. Focused on the power of collective action, he is working to harness the anarchy of creative trends such as wiki-enabled “distributed authoring” that make it possible for Web users to add and edit content online.

With experience in marketing, advertising and public relations, Ed is focused on the profitable business application of current technologies. He is a political science graduate of Texas A&M University, an Army brat and an Eagle Scout with more than 15 years experience in software programming.

Jennifer Brooks - Programming Manager

Jennifer Brooks is the Programming Director and a senior equity parnter at Schipul. She is a team leader and an experienced programmer who reviews every project with the clients' long term goals in mind.

Jennifer manages the team of professionals responsible for continued expansion and improvement of the foundation codebase modules used to build our Tendenci software.

"J" is a devoted wife and mother, has a unique sense of humor and is from Katy, Texas (and knows everyone). She is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.

Aaron Long - Business Development

Aaron Long is the Business Development Director and an equity partner at Schipul. An accomplished artist, animator and businessman, Aaron is responsible for overseeing the sales team for Schipul – The Web Marketing Company and Tendenci™ - Membership Management Software.

Prior to Business Development, Aaron served as Creative Director for Schipul. As Creative Director, Aaron piloted online marketing for hundreds of clients from around the globe. Some of the team's past achievements have been discovering new ways to measure web analytics, integrating social software that helps business, and educating the community on the best way to reach a market and have money left over for profit.

Prior to joining Schipul, Aaron worked as part of a large design team producing a variety of print material, interactive games and demos, and television commercials. He was much loved by his students while working for the Art Institute of Houston as an animation instructor. He also spent several years with two major animation studios, working on major full-length animated films for both Warner Brothers and DreamWorks, including Space Jam and The Prince of Egypt.

Aaron is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.F.A. in Studio Art. He is also a family man, draws a mean caricature, and can find an image on a Google search faster than any other human being alive.

Rodney Sabrsula - Technology Director

Rodney Sabrsula manages the security, access, backups, e-mail accounts and hosting of all client web sites. In addition, Rodney meticulously maintains the server environment to ensure maximum speed and security are achieved throughout the system.

In addition to his network responsibilities, Rodney served as the Web master for the Society of Petroleum Engineers - Gulf Coast Section web site for eighteen months. As one of Schipul's largest Houston-based clients, the relationship with SPE-GCS has proven a good match for both parties.

Rodney is a graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. in Management Information Systems.

He ran the Houston Marathon in 2001, cycled in the MS150 from Houston to Austin in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and has served as a volunteer fireman for the city of Stafford.

Jason McElweenie - Search Engine Marketing Manager

Jason McElweenie leads Schipul's Search Engine Marketing team. His previous company experience on the graphics team and as the dedicated webmaster for the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Gulf Coast Section, has provided Jason with a unique knack for helping client discover new ways to reach a broader audience online.

Jason studied web and graphic design in his home country of Canada and shortly after arriving in Texas on business met his wife Tiffany. A man of varied interests, Jason produces a monthly music podcast (Low End Theory), is an avid photographer and is an active member of the Houston chapter of non profit technology organization NetSquared.

Thanks to his Canadian heritage, Jason spells words funny (some might say 'correctly'), loves Stompin' Tom, Poutine and hockey. Jason can usually be found off the beaten path with cameras in tow when not in the office playing with search engines.

Kerry Gayle - Production Team Manager

Kerry Gayle

Kerry Gayle oversees the Production Team for Schipul – The Web Marketing Company. The Team is responsible for training and support, project management and taking Web sites online and maintaining the security of our network.

Prior to joining Schipul, Kerry worked as Multimedia Manager of an area film production company where her responsibilities included interactive design, authoring and programming as well as organization and project management of film and video projects.

A native of Singapore, Kerry moved to Texas in 1994 to attend the University of North Texas where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Radio Television and Film in 1997. She moved to Houston shortly thereafter and was married in 2005 to filmmaker Raymond Gayle.
