Blogging isn't like the Wizard of Oz; we're not here to hide all the secrets about starting and maintaining a blog so we can control the power. We want YOU to be able to do it in the comfort of your own office or home--and it isn't very hard. You want to start a blog over lunch? We're going to do it today.

- Starting a blog on WordPress.com
- Learn how to implement a template and what to look for when choosing a template
- Learn what the heck a template actually is
- Touch on key elements of branding
- Make your first blog post
- Learn how to put cool videos or other rich media into a post
If you've ever needed a quick blog tutorial, this is the session for you.
David Stagg is a recent addition to the Schipul team, starting in the summer of 2008 on the Graphics team. Originally from Houston, he was previously working and teaching Web design for over three years at Rice University, also in Houston, before making the move to working and designing full-time for Schipul. In addition to teaching classes, he has also given a number of hands-on trainings for any type of audience member, from novice to expert.
He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, and can't wait for the college football season to begin.
